Instadose™ from Quantum Products brings radiation monitoring into the digital age. Smaller than a flash drive, this rugged dosimeter provides an instant read-out when connected to any computer with internet access via a USB connector.

This revolutionary device provides radiation workers with complete control over when and how frequently they get their readings, with unlimited readings included for one low price. Concerns about a possible exposure can be addressed immediately, as opposed to other badge services which provide readings on a quarterly or monthly basis.

Based upon patented direct ion storage technology, instadose includes access to each users' historical and current exposure readings. There is no need to send badges to a processing center, simplifying administration and reducing costs.

Instadose™ from Quantum Products is a small, rugged dosimeter based on patented direct ion storage technology.

This breakthrough technology provides radiation workers with a precise measurement of radiation dose and includes accurate long-term exposure tracking. A built-in memory chip stores each user's identity via an embedded unique serial code that is assigned to the user.

Instadose allows users to have the flexibility to view their radiation dose at any time from any computer with internet access. Readings via a PC are enabled by a USB compatible detector. Once a user receives instadose they must first register at: www.instadose.com. During the registration process the instadose driver and client are installed on the users’ computer and the device is initialized for use.

When a user wishes to obtain a reading they simply log-in to their account, plug-in instadose to a USB port and on the homepage click on the computer image with the message “Plug in your instadose device now and click here to get an instant reading”. The accumulated dose stored on instadose is processed through a proprietary algorithm. This fully automated transfer of data minimizes the chance of human error and misidentification. Once complete a graphical representation of the current dose will load on the screen. Users can also view their cumulative dose level by clicking "View Cumulative Dose."

A variety of reports are available for download through AMP (Account Management Program)." The reports include:

Who Needs Instadose?
Federal and State regulations limit the amount of radiation that workers are allowed to receive. Radiation monitoring should be considered for those who work in occupations where risks may be prevalent due to exposures from X-ray equipment or in labs where radioactive materials are utilized. How Often Should I Read My Instadose?
As part of a good As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) program it is recommended devices be read once a week. Using the principles of ALARA means doing everything you can to minimize the affects of radiation to yourself and your patients.

Is There a Set Up Fee?
We do not charge set-up, annual maintenance or administrative fees.

Will I Ever Need to Ship the Devices Back to You to Receive a Record of Dose?
No, on AMP you can access Radiation Exposure Summary Reports under the report section.

AMP (Account Management Program) is Quantum Products' solution to providing customers with secure online account management. It's fast, simple, and free!

With AMP, account administrators can manage all the elements of a radiation monitoring program online anytime, from anywhere. From account administration to managing individual wearers and devices, AMP will give you real time access to account details, device assignments, reports, and all your pertinent account information.

AMP restricts users within an account from seeing other wearers' data and from making changes to the main account. The account administrator assigns each instadose™ device to a specific user. Each device has an embedded unique serial code that gets assigned to an individual user.

A few of the functions that are accessible by the account administrator include:

Manage Locations - Separate and track badges for each department in a facility or for offices in other regions with options to manage locations:

Once an administrator sets-up a user within their account, a user can log into AMP and get real-time readings by inserting their assigned device into a USB port on any internet-connected PC.
